Amongst the most luxurious and beautiful cars ever built in this world, we also find poorly designed cars that leave a lot to be desired. Therefore, in this article, we will reveal some of the worst cars on our planet.

Ford Pinto

Built in 1970, this car was poorly designed in the area of safety. The mistake made by the engineering department on the fuel tank design was deadly. The car caught fire when involved in a rear-end collision. This was caused by an explosion of the badly designed fuel tank. As a result, this life-threatening fault puts the Ford Pinto on the list of worst cars ever manufactured.

Triumph TR7

Manufactured in the UK from 1975 until 1981, the Triumph TR7 disappointed its consumers because it was unreliable. Its performance was sub-standard for a sports car of its caliber. The 105-horsepower engine tended to overheat. Furthermore, the coil suspension problems and inferior electronic parts used by the Triumph TR7 made things worse. Indeed, this was one of the worst cars ever built.

Cadillac Cimarron

This 4-door sedan was manufactured from 1982 to 1988 to compete with other European luxury cars being imported to the United States. However, the Cadillac Cimarron did not live up to its intended mission. Its engine lacked the power that other cars of its time had. Also, its cramped interior sucked the air out of your lungs. This was caused by differences in the shape of the car and the size of the seats. This bad design of the car played a significant role in discouraging consumers from buying it. As a result, production of the Cadillac Cimarron was halted in 1988.

The Reliant Robin

This weird-looking three-wheeled car was built from 1973 until 1983. This funny look made the car an object of ridicule. Furthermore, the safety of this car was compromised because of the one wheel the vehicle had in front. The chances of it rolling were very high. Also, the interior of the car was in shambles and of terrible quality. To make matters worse, its 85mph speed was very slow.
